I Term:
How force is involve and affects our daily lives?
This trimester we have focused on three main forces and applied them to various situations. The term presentation is a chance for you to be creative and to show the class what you have learned and how you can apply it in a creative way.

INQUIRY TOPIC:
CAUSE AND EFFECT IN PHYSICAL SYSTEMS INDICATORS: IM1: Studies motion of objects and the physical forces that affect them to record sequenced information of cause/effect relationships. IM2: Gathers information about objects’ motion and forces involved to categorize different types of forces and/or energy in diverse problems situations that involves movement. CT1: Obtains quantitative/qualitative data of different forces applied to an object to identify pieces of evidence related to cause/effect relationships and patterns. CT2: Selects relevant pieces of evidence of forces and motion of objects to support a claim of cause/effect situations. C1: Compare the effects of different forces applied to an object to make hypothesis of problem situations regarding the movement. C2: Uses cause and effect relationships of motion and forces on objects to develop a model that represents a solution or the action of different types of forces, properly supported. M1: Describes a plan in order to identify learning strategies from a given list. M2: Evaluates teacher’s feedback in order to select learning strategies according to aspects that require improvement. IM: Information management CT: Critical Thinking C: Creativity M: Metacognition |
